We are pleased to announce the appointment of Annemarie De Andrade as the new BIEAP-FREMP Program Manager.

Annemarie brings an M.S.c. in Natural Resource Management to the organization and has a strong background in communications, facilitation and strategic development.

For over 10 years she worked in the Brazilian government sector, managing a national park with the Brazilian Institute for the Environment and improving First Nations relationships while at the National Foundation for Indigenous Peoples.

Most recently as Public Programs Manager for the Stanley Park Ecology Society, Annemarie administered a number of community outreach programs while fostering stakeholder partnerships. She also co-founded the Greater Vancouver Invasive Plant Council.

Annemarie is looking forward to working with each partner agency at BIEAP-FREMP and leading the programs into the future.
