> Estuary Management Plan > Water
and Land Use Committee
The FREMP Water and Land use Committee (WLUC) meets quarterly to
oversee implementation of the updated Estuary
Management Plan (EMP). The Committee suggests annual work plans
based on the EMP that are consistent with goals and objectives set
by the joint BIEAP-FREMP Management Committee. The WLUC provides
advice on policy matters to Management Committee, monitors progress
towards achieving actions in the EMP, and assists in implementing
the EMP.

The WLUC takes on responsibility for tasks formerly undertaken
by its subcommittees, including the Dredge Management Advisory Committee
and the Habitat Classification Improvement Task Group.
