Pitt River Reach Overview
Findings / Analysis
Next Steps

The reach overview for the Pitt River provides a compilation of the reach’s ecological and human features and functions. The overview is intended as a planning and educational tool for use by municipal planners, developers, academics, land owners, agency staff, non-governmental organizations, and members of the public with an interest in the Pitt River.

The reach overview is primarily a compilation of biophysical and socioeconomic information, ackno

wledging that natural and human uses are both occurring in the reach and that there are linkages between biological, physical and human processes. Also provided is a brief assessment of the areas likely to experience significant change over the coming years, along with analysis of the linkages between the different land use plans in place.

This document contains a number of maps developed by FREMP, as well as other web-based documents such as Official Community Plans.
