**PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE PROCEEDING TO THE MAPS**
The
FREMP Habitat Classification System (“colour coding”)
and other data are now accessible for viewing over the Internet.
Data has been organized into a FREMP Atlas, an interactive on-line
map hosted by the Community Mapping Network (CMN). Click
here to go directly to the FREMP Atlas. (Please note
it may take a few moments to zoom in to your specific area.)
The
FREMP Atlas contains the following data layers:
• Orthophotos of the FREMP
area (2002)
• Habitat Classification (Colour
Coding)
• Habitat Inventory of
the Fraser River Estuary, 2002/3
• Other information layers (e.g. watercourses)
Note
that the habitat classifications (colour codes) apply to the area
on the wetted side of the dyke, and may not line up correctly with
cadastral (property boundary) data. Mismatches between these data
layers may be caused by errors in either data set. See the metadata
in the Atlas for more details on each data layer.
Instructions
for viewing the data:
In order to use the FREMP Atlas, you must download the Autodesk
Mapguide viewer; this may happen automatically when you first open
the Atlas. Click here
for instructions.
How
to create and print a map on the CMN:
To copy and paste the map view:
1. Use the Zoom and Pan commands from the pop-up menu or from the
toolbar to display only the portion of the map you want to see.
2. Right-click in the map, and then choose Copy > To Clipboard

map view is now copied to the Clipboard.
3. Switch to the application in which you want to paste the map
view (e.g. MS Word).
4. Choose Edit > Paste.
5. The view of the map you copied now appears in the application.
6. You can now print the map from the application.
Further
instructions can be found in the Autodesk Mapguide Viewer Help (click
